The selected candidate will be appointed to the rank of Associate or Full Professor in the Adjunct series depending on qualifications and interests. Faculty in the Adjunct series are individuals who are predominately engaged in research or other creative work and who participate in teaching, or individuals who contribute primarily to teaching have a limited responsibility for research or other creative work; these individuals may be professional practitioners of appropriate distinction. The individual will be responsible for mentorship and guidance of early career faculty and/or Fellows, as well strategic guidance of internal grant making programs. Appointees within this series also engage in University and public service consistent with their assignments. Required Qualifications:

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $150,200-$319,800. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
