As a Security Officer Driving Role Campus Patrol in Newark, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Pay Rate: $16.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, trespassing, and/or disruptive behavior through visible presence and routine interaction with occupants and guests.
• Report maintenance concerns, lighting issues, hazards, and/or property damage observed during patrols to the appropriate contact in accordance with site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
