As a Senior Sales Associate at kate spade new york, you are a leader on the sales floor and a true brand ambassador. You elevate the kate spade Experience by driving sales, mentoring peers, and partnering with store leadership to create a culture of exceptional service and storytelling. You consistently exceed goals while inspiring customers to explore new possibilities and celebrate every moment ("so, buy the bag!"). Using emotional intelligence, you personalize experiences, anticipate needs, and guide customers toward unexpected choices they'll love. You champion omni-channel, virtual, and social selling initiatives, maintain high energy, and foster an inclusive environment where both customers and team members feel seen and valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently exceed personal sales and productivity goals; model best-in-class selling behaviors.
  • Deliver service aligned to kate spade Great Escape standards; coach peers on client engagement.
  • Demonstrate extensive product knowledge across all categories; share insights to elevate team selling.
  • Partner with Store/Assistant Manager to initiate business-driving events and elevate selling culture.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, sharing stories that bring product and brand to life.
  • Champion omni-channel and virtual selling services; lead adoption of social selling programs.
  • Support creation of short-form videos and live-stream shopping content; stay informed on social media trends.
  • Capture and relay client feedback to management to inform service and assortment strategies.
  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures (register funds, deposits, securing the facility).
  • Contribute to an inclusive team culture; encourage collaboration and performance excellence.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in luxury retail or comparable elevated retail environment. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and mentor peers; contribution to an elevated selling culture.
  • Extensive product knowledge and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with omni/virtual selling and willingness to appear on camera for social selling initiatives.
  • Social media fluency and understanding of platform trends.
  • Elevated sense of personal style and professional ethics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
  • Strong English language proficiency. (for EU)

Base Pay Range

$15.00-$19.50
