Mental Health Clinician - CCBHC at West Onondaga

Helio Health is on a mission to treat and promote recovery from the effects of substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. To support the mission of Helio Health we are seeking a dedicated and passionate Mental Health Clinician, Full-Time who can treat substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders at our CCBHC at West Onondaga Street Program.

In addition to Helio Health's comprehensive benefits package, Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists are eligible for a Sign-On Incentive of $3,000 to $8,000 depending on licensure/certification.

Pay Rate: $30.00- $35.00 per hour.

Maintain a case load.
• Perform essential counseling/therapist responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.
• Assist with the training of staff, volunteers and student interns as assigned.
• Exhibit exemplary knowledge of the biopsychosocial process of substance use disorders/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group processes, and principles of counseling.
• Relate effectively with staff, patients, and professional community while upholding appropriate standards of confidentiality.

• Minimum of a NYS Licensure (LMSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, LCSW) is required.
• Master's Degree required.
• Two years employment experience in the Human Services field.
• An equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.
