  • Coordinate across disciplines: Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil design considerations into broader project solutions.
  • Develop technical documentation: Write technical reports, maintain organized project records, and document design decisions clearly.
  • Lead smaller assignments: Manage defined tasks or small projects, participate in internal and external meetings, and follow through on commitments.
  • Support construction outcomes: Provide design support from conception to construction to help resolve questions, clarify intent, and maintain project momentum.

What Makes This Role Different

  • Meaningful infrastructure impact: Your work contributes to reliable water and wastewater systems that support public health, environmental stewardship, and community resilience.
  • Room to grow: You'll gain exposure to varied project types, technical challenges, and project delivery responsibilities that support long-term professional development.
  • Collaborative delivery model: You'll work alongside engineers, project managers, and technical partners who value practical solutions, shared accountability, and strong client service.

What You Bring

  • Technical curiosity: A desire to deepen civil engineering skills across water and wastewater infrastructure while learning from experienced project teams.
  • Service mindset: A client-focused approach to problem solving, communication, and follow-through.
  • Collaborative communication: The ability to share information clearly, ask thoughtful questions, and work effectively with colleagues across disciplines.
  • Ownership and reliability: A dependable work style that supports accurate deliverables, organized documentation, and timely progress.
  • Practical problem solving: Sound judgment when balancing technical quality, constructability, schedule, and project needs.
  • Growth orientation: Interest in expanding responsibilities, supporting junior staff over time, and contributing to continuous improvement in project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
  • Experience: 6+ years of civil engineering experience required; water and wastewater project experience preferred.
