The Marketing Programs Manager will power Connection's state of the art Technology Integration and Distribution Center ("TIDC"), as well as our GlobalServe division helping organizations streamline international technology procurement and simplify supply chain with innovative technologies, expanding the trusted guidance and customer service Connection offers in the US.  This role, as a primary focus, develops campaigns and programs aligned with company-level campaigns and strategic initiatives for the TIDC and GlobalServe, aligned with vertical markets and segments. Secondary focus can expand into other areas such as Healthcare, Retail and Manufacturing and GPOs.  Works closely with cross-functional teams including Campaign Management, Segment Marketing, Industry Strategy Group (ISG), Events, Sales and Product Management to develop 12-month plans aligned with the business objectives that optimizes program alignment with company-level campaigns and initiatives to drive awareness, demand, customer loyalty and sales enablement to help grow the business. Manages the development of vertical marketing content to support the buyer’s journey. Manages budget and expenses. Collaborates with Marketing and Product Managers to present marketing programs to vendor partners as needed, detailing participation opportunities and secure cooperative funding. Coordinates deliverables to schedule and execute awareness and demand generation programs and interlocks with segment and events for program alignment. Manages Sales and Product Management communication efforts around marketing programs. Monitors program components and measures performance against objectives. Understands customer segment, metrics and market data to enhance program effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with TIDC and GlobalServe leadership, Sales, Segment Marketing and Product Management to develop 12-month marketing plans to support business priorities and goals.
  • Collaborates with leadership and other subject matter experts to develop content to support the buyer’s journey to maximize brand exposure and demand among GPO audience.
  • Plans and optimizes marketing programs alignment with company objectives and funding for designated industry verticals and sales segments.
  • Presents marketing campaign plan to TIDC and GlobalServe, Sales, and Product Management to gain support and gather feedback to optimize program implementation.
  • Works with Product Managers to present marketing program concepts to vendor partners as needed, detailing program participation opportunities and secure cooperative funding.
  • Monitors program components, measuring performance against objectives in cooperation with Marketing Analytics team and roll up findings and recommendations for improvements.
  • Partners with segment marketing manager to come up with recommendations on the go-to- market messaging based on current trends in the marketplace.
  • Works closely with the industry, segment and sales leaders to help plan programs to maximize on business growth.
  • Executes on lead gen programs to maximize the business growth.
  • Aligns with events team on face-to-face and virtual opportunities aligned with programs.
  • Aligns with segment to support methods and strategies around driving business.
  • Provides planning support to Events for segment and vertical market events.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience, and 5-7 years related experience.
  • Experience in supporting distribution center, global business or similar vertical markets in a previous role in either marketing, product management, or a sales role.
  • Sound technical skills, including Microsoft Office including Teams.
  • Functional understanding of marketing and e-commerce.
  • Solid critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal & writing).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and across all levels of an organization.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
