Your Role As a Gensler Technical Designer specializing in healthcare environments, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create high-performing spaces that support patient care, staff efficiency, and overall well-being. Working across a range of healthcare project types-including hospitals, outpatient clinics, and specialized treatment facilities-you will contribute through all phases of design, from concept development to construction documentation and administration. You bring a patient-centered mindset, a strong attention to detail, and an understanding of how materials, finishes, and furnishings impact clinical outcomes, safety, and healing experiences. You are passionate about design that makes a meaningful impact-enhancing care delivery, supporting healthcare professionals, and improving environments where healing happens. Our Oakland office is home to a vibrant and growing interiors architecture practice delivering innovative, forward-thinking solutions. Your Qualifications
**The base salary will be estimated between $84,000-$108,000 plus bonuses and benefits and contingent on relevant experience. *This is not a remote position. This position is expected to be in the office full-time. *Notice: At Gensler an unlicensed Architect will have the job title of Technical Designer and operate in this capacity for alignment with internal programs, doing business with clients and compliance with industry and government regulations.
