Pharmacist - Director Independence, Missouri Pay From: $60.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Pharmacist - Director Must have Pharmacy management experience Must have an active and good standing Pharmacist license in Missouri Must have experience in Behavioral Health Must have experience in Inpatient DUTIES: Pharmacy Director will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Oversee procurement, installation, and validation of pharmacy equipment and automated dispensing systems Establish workflows to ensure safe, efficient medication distribution across the facility Collaborate closely with nursing leadership and clinical teams to forecast medication needs Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory control of all pharmaceuticals and related supplies Ensure proper storage, handling, and compliance with all regulatory standards (e.g., DEA, state boards, accreditation bodies) Oversee stocking, configuration, and maintenance of automated dispensing cabinets and pharmacy systems Ensure readiness for inspections and accreditation surveys Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and administration to ensure alignment of pharmacy services with patient care goals Provide regular progress updates through weekly calls, status reports, and email communications Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
