Leidos is seeking a Program Analyst / Technical Support to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), Office of Defense Programs. This position supports the Federal Program Managers responsible for nuclear weapons production integration, stockpile sustainment, and modernization programs across the Nuclear Security Enterprise.

The selected candidate will provide analytical and technical advisory support across one or more mission areas, including:

  • NA-121 - Stockpile Production Integration (production execution, capacity, and cross-site coordination)
  • NA-122 - Stockpile Sustainment (lifecycle management, reliability, and aging systems)
  • NA-125 - Office of Stockpile Modernization (program execution, integration, and transition to production)

The role operates at the intersection of program analysis, technical integration, and enterprise coordination, requiring the ability to synthesize inputs from national laboratories, production agencies, and DoD stakeholders into actionable insights for Federal leadership. The selected candidate will support analysis of program execution, risks, and cross-program impacts across multiple organizations and mission areas.

You will engage regularly with NNSA headquarters staff, site offices, national laboratories, production agencies, systems engineering teams, and DoD stakeholders to support program coordination, reporting, and execution alignment.

This is a full-time contractor-support position located on-site at NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and technical advisory support to Federal Program Managers overseeing production, sustainment, and modernization programs.
  • Assess program execution, integration risks, lifecycle performance, and schedule status across laboratories and production agencies.
  • Support coordination among NNSA headquarters, national laboratories, production agencies, and DoD stakeholders to align program objectives.
  • Develop executive-level briefings, white papers, issue papers, and decision memoranda related to program performance and risks.
  • Provide situational analysis and recommendations regarding program execution, capacity constraints, lifecycle risks, and cross-program impacts.
  • Support participation in DOE product realization processes, technical reviews, and interagency coordination meetings.
  • Support preparation and response to data calls, Congressional inquiries, and short-notice requests from NNSA leadership.
  • Identify emerging technical, policy, or programmatic risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Track action items and key deliverables to ensure timely resolution of program issues.
  • Support development of program plans, integration strategies, and reporting aligned to Defense Programs priorities.

Requirements:

  • Active DOE Q clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Program Management, Business, or related discipline with 8+ years of experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience supporting DOE/NNSA, DoD, national laboratories, nuclear production environments, or comparable federal programs.
  • Experience supporting nuclear weapons production, sustainment, modernization, or related defense acquisition efforts.
  • Understanding of Nuclear Security Enterprise roles and responsibilities, including design and production agency interfaces.
  • Experience briefing or supporting briefings for federal officials or military leadership.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to complex analytical efforts in a high-visibility environment.
