What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Master Senior Lab Technician who will be responsible for leading

tests at the Engineering Lab including new product design, sustaining engineering, product engineering, and manufacturing.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Support R&D new products and production test evaluations.
  • Design fixtures for new and changed tests.
  • Setup and build & run various mechanical and thermal testing
  • Create final report for each test using power point.
  • Develop engineering lab procedures.
  • Support CNC mill programming and troubleshooting of Haas.
  • Troubleshoot of engineering lab equipment.
  • Offer ideas on design for manufacturing (DFM).
  • Interface with suppliers of materials and contractors for specialist equipment.
  • Provide Training and guidance of new Lab Technician

What are the basic qualifications?

  • 10 years experience as a Senior Lab Technician in relate industry with AA college degree or 15 years experience as a Senior Lab Technician with high school diploma.
  • Knowledge and experience in assembly and fabrication operations
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Must have knowledge of engineering principles such as strength of a material and thermodynamics
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
  • Knowledge of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) tools.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Experience CNC programming, Mastercam X7 or later, or similar CAD/CAM software
  • Must be hands-on working on each test..
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, and Outlook.

What are the preferred qualifications?

  • Forklift and scissor lift
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Experience CNC programming, Mastercam X7 or later, or similar CAD/CAM software
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams Meeting, Outlook
  • Knowledge of Statistical analysis such as average, standard deviation, max, min, etc.
  • Analytical or Reasoning Abilities
  • Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning)
  • Knowledge of Data Management
