Our work frequently involves creating three-dimensional (3-D) visual assets that translate highly complex technical concepts into clear, compelling stories. As a 3-D Modeler, you will bring technology to life with your technical design expertise. You'll be part of a design team, creating outstanding visual content to drive and align to strategic messaging and corporate brand guidelines. You will be responsible for creating compelling, digestible visual storytelling solutions out of highly complex, technical data. Responsibilities You willcreate detailed 3Drendersof physics concepts, quantum technologies and hardware. You will interact with Engineering and perform QAs to ensure quality while showing the ability to challenge design limitations. You'll also produce visual designs and mentor others on their creation. You will create wireframes, journey maps, and other elements to supportstorytellingdesign. You will communicate with cross-disciplinary teams across all stages of design and development. You will also tell a compelling, convincing product story to a specific audience. You willcollaborate withcreative team members, program managers, and developerstodeliver product design results while also providing guidance to product designers. Other: Embody ourCultureandValues Qualifications Required qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Product Design,Graphic Design,Art,Communications,or related field AND 5+years experienceworking in product or service design ORMaster's Degreein Product Design,Graphic Design, Art, Communications,or related field AND 4+years experienceworking in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g.,demonstratedexperience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems) Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of experience intechnical design production, including end-to-end 3D rendering workflows. 5+ years of experience in Maya,Vray, Cinema4D, Octane,and VFX compositing,Adobe Creative Suite,PowerPoint. Experienced at delivering high quality assets in a deadline-driven environment, while maintaining clear and consistent communication. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
