POSITION SPECIFICS Purpose Support the County 4-H team in providing high-quality, positive youth development program experiences for existing as well as new youth audiences. The 4-H Summer Assistant will be responsible to the 4-H Educator. Job Responsibilities

Qualifications Position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, the ability to work independently, and the ability to plan and teach activities and educational programs. Must be a team player who can work with diverse youth and adults. The candidate must be able to carry equipment and educational materials and supplies, with or without accommodation. Preference will be given to applicants with undergraduate coursework in education, agriculture, the sciences or other related fields. Previous experience with the 4-H program is preferred. Applicants must also be willing to work flexible hours.
