Summary:

The Program Acquisition Manager will provide intermediate level knowledge for high visibility requirements of government Information Technology Acquisition lifecycle.

This position is off-site/hybrid and based in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The incumbent must be able to travel to Fort Belvoir, VA for meetings as required.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manages and documents acquisition milestones and contract deliverables.
  • Collects and analyzes a variety of source and acquisition documentation.
  • Extracts and organizes data and information for government review and awareness.
  • Tracks, inputs, maintains data and information for the government to decipher and manage.
  • Tracks and records receipt of contract deliverables, and reports contract discrepancies to government personnel.
  • Supports programs in meetings, briefings, and virtual sessions administratively by taking notes, recording, and organizing documents.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must have experience with the following programs of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project Management.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Ability to work independently and maintain tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in program management.
  • Have experience with government Information Technology Acquisition processes and acquisition documents.
  • Experience managing and recording schedules and acquisition milestones.
  • Experience interpreting government contracts and contract deliverables.
  • Experience preparing memos and recording data into acquisition trackers and templates.
  • Must hold a Project Management certification (i.e., Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other equivalent/recognized Project Management certification)
  • Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized authority.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
