A global leader in foodservice and packaging solutions is seeking a Business Development Director - QSR to drive commercial growth with major Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands across North America. This role focuses on strategic account leadership, new business development, and high-level commercial negotiations with some of the most recognizable brands in the QSR industry. The ideal candidate brings strong experience selling into large restaurant chains and is comfortable operating in a strategic, customer-facing leadership role. This position collaborates cross-functionally with product development, operations, and customer service teams to deliver customized solutions that support revenue growth and long-term customer partnerships.

Base salary + commission, base of $140-160k plus full benefits and commission!

Key Responsibilities


  • Drive profitable growth across major North American QSR accounts
  • Identify and pursue new strategic opportunities within the QSR market
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
  • Own annual budgets, revenue forecasts, and margin targets
  • Maintain executive-level relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Ensure successful execution of contract terms and service delivery
  • Provide regular performance reporting and forecasting updates
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-specific solutions
  • Guide and support account managers in managing client relationships



Required Qualifications


  • 5+ years of sales or business development experience working with major QSR brands
  • Proven experience managing or growing large strategic accounts
  • Background in packaging, foodservice manufacturing, or related consumer goods
  • Strong negotiation and commercial strategy experience
  • Demonstrated success building and managing sales pipelines
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, travel-intensive role



Preferred Qualifications


  • Existing relationships with major QSR brands such as McDonald's, Starbucks, Yum! Brands, or Wendy's
  • Experience developing customer proposals and strategic account presentations
  • Exposure to sustainability initiatives, packaging innovation, or supply chain solutions
  • ERP system experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook)
