Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Field Events Manager to lead our global events function within the Growth Marketing team. This role owns end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance of Vasion's global field event programs, including tradeshows, digital events, and ancillary events. In this role, you will lead and manage a small team of Field Events Managers, oversee the global events budget, and serve as the strategic authority for how Vasion shows up at events. Primary Responsibilities
- Own the global field events strategy, aligning programs to marketing and pipeline goals
- Lead, manage, and develop of a team of Field Event Managers, providing coaching, clear priorities, and performance feedback
- Oversee end-to-end event logistics for all for all global tradeshows, conferences, and ancillary events (both in-person and virtual)
- Manage the annual field events calendar, ensuring strategic prioritization and appropriate resource allocation
- Own and manage the global field events budget, including planning, forecasting, tracking, and reconciliation across all regions
- Collaborate with the Growth Marketing team to align on event strategy, goals, and success metrics
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including Design, Sales, BDRs, Marketing Operations, and Vendors, to ensure seamless event execution
- Ensure all pre-event and post-event communications, promotional materials, and lead capture processes are clearly communicated with stakeholders
- Track key event metrics and create reporting to measure business impact, including lead generation, pipeline influence, and ROI
- Maintain organized event documentation, timelines, and vendor relationships for continuous improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in event management or a field marketing role, specifically B2B tradeshow experience, with at least 2+ years managing a team
- Proven track record of managing multiple events simultaneously from conception to completion
- Experience in budget management, vendor negotiations, and expense tracking
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and marketing automation tools
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including potential international travel
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large-scale tradeshows and conferences
- Familiarity with event management platforms and registration tools
- Experience building and scaling event operation processes
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives at once with speed and high-quality detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving industry
