DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT - EDGE Act as the single threaded leader for Wind River's Edge which consists of the VxWorks and Helix Virtualization Platform portfolios. As a coach/player, lead a team of seasoned product managers, aggregating input from external customers, sales, market research, fellow product managers, partners, etc., to execute against the broad product strategy and drive product truth. Own the end-to-end product strategy for a portfolio of products, understand the competitive landscape and deliver against industry specific needs (aerospace, defense, industrial, medical, and automotive) to ensure revenue growth. Define and maintain a coherent product roadmap, balancing in-life product delivery with next generation product strategy. Make explicit tradeoffs between scope, quality, timing, and investment. Ensure product strategy is grounded in customer needs and business outcomes. Actively engage in customer discovery, requirement definition, translating business driven customer needs into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria Work in close partnership with experienced Engineers, Sales leaders, Finance Team, and the broader Wind River teams. This is an exciting, high impact role for a Product Management Leader with a passion for mission critical software that impacts daily lives. About you You are a senior Product Management leader with experience with operating systems or low-level middleware, and associated tools and technologies.
