NYSTEC's Don Hanson Internship Program
The NYSTEC Don Hanson Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work alongside NYSTEC professionals to apply academic knowledge in a real-world consulting environment. Interns gain hands-on experience while developing critical business and professional skills that support our clients, partners, and organization. With guidance from an assigned mentor, interns will build competencies in:
Internship Experience - Strategic Partnerships Intern As an intern in NYSTEC's Strategic Partnerships practice, you will support research and planning efforts for the IgniteU program. The role includes researching funding models, organizations, emerging topics, as well as contributing to a quantum technology landscape study through literature review and stakeholder analysis. The NYSTEC Don Hanson Internship Program for summer 2026 will run from May 18 - August 7. The typical schedule will be during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Specific hours can be negotiated based on the intern's availability. Pay rates for interns are:
