Overview
Microsoft's Corporate Accounting organization is looking for a highly motivated, collaborative accounting professional who enjoys synthexizing the complex, and working cross-functionally to join our Corporate Revenue Assurance team. Revenue Assurance focuses on defining policy, implementing accounting guidance, enhancing and consulting on revenue recognition controls and policies, researching revenue recognition questions, and analyzing and reporting financial results. This Finance Manager - Revenue Assurance will be focused on collaborating across the team to assess revenue recognition under ASC606 through the launch process. Key responsibilities include documenting accounting positions for new product launches and revenue contracts, supporting existing products launched through new programs, partnering with the revenue team on system changes and contributing to quarterly financial close activiites. This Finance Manager - Revenue Assurance position requires a collaborative, organized, and motivated individual who enjoys working with people to understand the business strategy and related processes. Accounting IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
