The Lean Transformation Coach Senior provides training, coaching, and operational support to administrators, physicians, clinicians, and front-line staff for the deployment of Cone Health's Lean management system. Working under limited supervision, this role leads and manages complex improvement efforts for clinical and non-clinical value streams through the understanding of process improvement tools and techniques, and strong project management skills.

Essential Job Function

  • Drives the transformation culture change to Cone Health's Lean management system primarily through continuous improvement training and coaching across the care continuum.
  • Facilitates the overall improvement of performance and tracking of metrics (eg people, quality, service, costs, and growth) for hospitals, ambulatory centers, and physician practices.
  • Coordinates and guides the deployment of Management for Daily Improvement, Visual Management, and Standard Work.
  • Reports on and develops countermeasures for performance associated with event metrics.
  • Leads communication with Value Stream Steering Teams, executive leadership, and relevant stakeholders on resource demands, operational needs, expected gains, and return-on-investment (ROI) potential for each improvement event.
  • Reports to Lean Transformation Office on details related to project management, including but not limited to timeliness, training needs, communications, and deployment team needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree
