Job Description

Position Summary

Net Shaped Solutions, a PCC Company, is looking for an IT System Administrator.

Individualshould have a strong understanding of technology, site security, and be comfortable working in an office and production floor environment. This is an on-site role - with a team of two system administrators reporting directly to site GM and corporate IT leadership.

Notice: We are International traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Facility. In order to work here you must be a U.S. Person.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as escalation support for IT issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve internal hardware, software, and network issues
  • Support Windows environment, including user profiles, permissions, and device configurations
  • Diagnose issues related to VPN, remote access, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Document & assess recurring issues and recommend long-term solutions

Systems & Infrastructure Support

  • Assist with administration and maintenance of servers, networks, and cloud-based systems - including upgrades, patches, and deployments
  • Support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, ERP system, and related tools
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address issues

Security & Compliance

  • Support security (network & physical), access controls, and data protection requirements
  • Assist with user access management and role-based permissions
  • Follow IT security policies and escalate potential security incidents appropriately

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Document solutions, configurations, and procedures
  • Use of ServiceNow ticketing program (or similar)
  • Identify opportunities to improve IT processes and end-user support experience
  • Provide support and guidance to other IT representatives in our organization

Collaboration

  • Partner with vendors and third-party service providers, as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operations (Operations, Accounting, Logistics, etc.)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; (or equivalent experience)
  • 2-3 years of business IT support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper V, SyteLine, Factory Track, PLM for Discrete, SolarWinds is considered beneficial; but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with SOX Compliance is beneficial
