The opportunity

The Career Engagement Partner builds relationships with academic and business teams across the university. You will work with Career Services leadership and subject matter experts to design and improve career content, resources, and learning opportunities. The goal is to connect classroom learning with real-world career readiness and integrate career education throughout the learner journey. You will report to the Team Lead of Career Services and be fully remote. #LI-Remote

What you'll do:

  • You will collaborate with Career Services leadership and internal experts to design and enhance career content, resources, and opportunities that support student career development.
  • You will develop partnerships with academic and business stakeholders across the university.
  • You will develop working relationships with the full Career Services team, including advising, internships, employer relations, and fieldwork.
  • You will partner with academic leaders, faculty, academic advisors, Alumni Engagement, Online Accessibility, and other university teams to support career-related programs and evaluate outcomes.
  • You will represent Career Services as a subject matter expert in program redesign workshops, checkpoints, and meetings with academic leadership, curriculum and instructional design, and learning resources teams.
  • You will collaborate with internal and external experts to develop departmental and program resources. These resources include the student learning portal (mySNHU), intranet, SharePoint, OneNote, videos, webinars, communication plans, and other career-related materials. Manage these resources.
  • You will coordinate experiential learning opportunities with team members to provide meaningful out-of-classroom experiences for students.
  • You will be the connector between academic programs and career needs by sharing insights on workforce trends, employer expectations, and professional readiness.
  • You will participate in employer conversations to gather insights on skills and industry trends, and help develop strategies that connect academics, learners, and employers.
  • You will develop and implement a strategic career framework within each degree program in partnership with academics, students, employers, alumni, and student experience teams.
  • You will participate in Career Services departmental meetings, including employer relations and internships.
  • You will collaborate with the career marketing representative to support branding, marketing, and communication needs.
  • You will support internal training programs and share regular updates with the Career Services team.
  • You will create systems to collect and report outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness of new programs.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in career services, experiential learning, human resources, talent acquisition, or employer relations.
  • Familiar with creating videos, learning resources, marketing materials, and/or updating website content.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Understanding of basic project management concepts (timelines, milestones, task lists).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams.

Compensation

The annual pay range for this position is $48,301.00 - $77,296.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $53,373.00 - $72,210.00.
