Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Scrum Master with our client in the financial industry located in Chicago, IL. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Run meetings with business partners and other groups to gather requirements Communicate requirements clearly to Development and QA Use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to clearly document the high-level requirements Write detailed stories and acceptance criteria for Development to code to and QA to use as the basis for their test cases Responsible for working with Business partners around the world and gather, write and communicate requirements in a high pressure FX Market environment where things change at a fast pace and Business expectations are high Work with one of the client's foremost Agile development teams, using techniques from Scrum software development methodologies Participate in most phases of a project life cycle including gathering requirements, writing stories and acceptance criteria, estimations, test planning, writing user guides and training material and writing external and internal release communication Gather evidence from various repositories (SharePoint, source code, database, wiki pages, etc.) for Audit/Regulatory requests Requirements: Business Analyst/Scrum Master with 5+ years' experience with gathering and writing business and technical requirements Experience with agile process and running all agile ceremonies Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to keep asking the right questions until you get all the details behind a one sentence business requirement; always be thinking about what impact does this have on different groups within FX (Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office) and include them in requirements discussions Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time and work with many different groups Flexible with day-to-day responsibilities; business priorities can change quickly, so you need to be able to shift your focus quickly and keep a positive attitude Self-motivated, able to on multiple projects and run with them with little guidance Demonstrate good judgment to make decisions independently Able to write SQL queries against database, Foreign Exchange or Financial industry experience required Desired skills: SQL skills Exposure to FX/Financial industry Pay range: $68.38 - $76.38 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
