The Opportunity at Hand

The Corporate Finance Intern will assist in day-to-day financial tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role offers hands-on experience with financial modeling (both short term and longer-term forecasting), month-end close processes, and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth and financial awareness across the organization.

Projects & Tasks

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, including budget-to-actual variance analysis; support build-out of Product Profitability Analyses for Headwear and Apparel
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Help gather data and update spreadsheets for departmental budget tracking and strategic planning efforts
  • Keep all sensitive matters confidential
  • Other projects as assigned

What you will need to make an impact

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and PowerPoint are required; familiarity with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) or data tools (Tableau or Power BI) is a plus
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to simplify complex issues and derive actionable insights from large datasets
  • Soft Skills: Strong verbal/written communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment


Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (Junior, Senior, or Grad student preferred)

This role is 100% in-person and requires on-site attendance five days a week at our Headquarters building located in downtown Buffalo. The hourly rate for this posted position is $17/hr. and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
