Job Summary-

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nation. Our Springboro, Ohio facility is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift weekend 12-hr (5:00AM- 5:30PM).

Responsibilities-

Responsible for executing scheduled PM's and inspections on facility/production equipment ranging from CNC lathes,draw benches,mechanical presses, ovens, paint booths, winding machines and film coating lines.

    Performing routine inspections, lubrications,adjustments and repairs on machinery and facility equipment
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
  • Adhere to all safety and company policies
  • Follow PM schedules and work orders and documenting activities


Qualifications-

  • Knowledge of and able to perform tasks relating to plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints/schematics (often required).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of CMMS and ability to input required data into the system.
  • Ability to use root cause analysis tools to determine the cause of the breakdown and suggest/implement a countermeasure to prevent breakdown from re-occurring.
  • Ability to obtain a fork truck and aerial lift certification.
  • Industrial maintenance experience required.
