TSC is seeking a Material Control Supervisor in our Huntsville, AL location.

Responsibilities:

The Material Control Supervisor is responsible for the overall management of inventory flow from receiving to product shipment. This includes receiving activities, inventory management, audit management, cycle counts, inventory movement, and Manufacturing Order product shipment. This position will interact with supply chain, the production floor, planning, Program Management, and operations management. The successful candidate will have experience with Deltek Cost Point or equivalent ERP system and have worked in, or be familiar with, AS9100 quality standards and how they apply to inventory management. This is an on-site position. This position is a management position under the Materials Management Section.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior leadership experience in managing shipping, receiving, and inventory movement in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly responsive to both internal and external customer needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of material control principles, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Experience with AS9100 quality standards
  • Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP system
  • Proficiency with Aegis FactoryLogix, Oracle, SAP, or other ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience working with other internal groups such as production management, program management and operations management in order to support overall inventory flow and product production.
