We are looking for our next best team member to join our Culinary team. We are committed to providing you with:
Here is what you will be doing each day: Maintain complete knowledge of and ensure associate compliance with all departmental/hotel policies and procedures. Establish the day's priorities and assign production and preparation tasks for staff to execute. Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear directions to staff. Request the day's supplies and ensure that they are received and stored correctly. Communicate needs with Purchasing and Storeroom personnel. Ensure quality of products received. Meet with the Steward to review equipment needs, banquet plate up assistance, cleaning schedule/project status, health/safety and sanitation follow up. Ensure that each kitchen work area is stocked with specified tools, supplies and equipment to meet business demand. Conduct frequent walk throughs of each kitchen area and direct respective personnel to correct any deficiencies. Ensure that quality and details are being maintained. Maintain hotel policies and standards. Does this sound like you? You have at least one year of experience managing others preferably at a hotel setting. You have your Food Handler certification. You don't shy away from physical work and take pride in providing our guest with quality preparation and presentation of the food they order so that they have a memorable experience. You are looking for some flexibility in a job, so working a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends works for your personal life.
