Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy

Inova Mount Vernon is looking for a Full Time RN for the GE Lab. This is a 36hr/week position ( 4x9 shift schedule)Monday-Friday 0630-1700 with an on-call requirement covering nights, weekends and holidays.

The Endoscopy Team works with inpatients and outpatients performing advanced endoscopic procedures on adult, currently servicing from two Endo suites. The nurses assist with Electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) procedures for the outpatient psychiatric population.

Endoscopy RN Qualifications:

• One year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred Endoscopy RN Qualifications:

• 2 years plus acute care RN experience with one year in PACU, ICU or ED
