Responsible for leading asset maintenance and reliability strategies to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of surface assets across their lifecycle. This role serves as a technical advisor, integrating maintenance execution, asset integrity, and reliability engineering to maximize uptime, reduce operational risk, and optimize operating costs within an oil and gas operating environment. This position is located in downtown Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions
- Lead the development and optimization of preventive, predictive, and reliability-based maintenance programs for field and facility assets
- Define and maintain asset criticality rankings, maintenance standards, and equipment lifecycle strategies
- Provide technical oversight and guidance for maintenance planning, scheduling, and backlog management in coordination with operations and field teams
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards to track asset health, failure trends, and display actionable maintenance KPIs; implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to asset integrity and maintenance
- Manage maintenance budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
- Advise on root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and reliability improvement efforts, ensuring lessons learned are embedded into standards and work practices
- Maintain accurate asset registers, maintenance records, and documentation within CMMS/EAM systems
- Contribute to audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting as required
- Technical advisor on asset integrity, Fitness for Service (FFS), repair or replacement plans
- Assess and incorporate new technology for monitoring asset conditions

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in asset management, maintenance, reliability, or production operations within oil and gas or heavy industrial environments
- Demonstrated expertise in maintenance strategies, asset integrity management, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM)
- Experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance planning best practices
- Working knowledge of applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills with field, technical, and leadership teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power Bi, Spotfire, Sigma)
- Travel to field locations as required
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, asset integrity, and operational excellence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone

- 10 years of experience in asset management, maintenance, reliability, or production operations within oil and gas or heavy industrial environments
- Experience supporting upstream oil and gas production facilities and field equipment
- Familiarity with condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance technologies
- Certification in reliability or maintenance management (e.g., CMRP) is a plus
