Job Title: Service Officer
Department: Fashion District Office

We are looking for Service Officer to join our Fashion District Office branch team at Open Bank! The Service Officer will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day sales, service, and operational efficiency of the teller, new accounts, client service areas in order to make sure that client needs are met in an efficient and professional manner and that operational quality control is in place.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist opening new accounts for customers. (Personal & Business Checking, Saving, Money Market and CD Accounts)
  • Close CD & Installment Saving Accounts, as requested by customers or at the end of term date.
  • Review the Dormant Account Report. Contact customers and send out letters as appropriate.
  • Assist customers with Safe Deposit Box access
  • Fulfill customer Debit Card & Check Book orders and process ATM balancing.
  • Remote Deposit, ATM Deposit and Mobile Deposit review and approve.
  • Approve deposit, withdrawal and other operations-related transactions for the amount up to the authorized approval limit.
  • Customer Service Duties include processing Reg E Claims and providing banking services both in-person and by telephone.
  • Support Branch Relationship Manager, Service Manager, Relationship Officers.
  • Cooperate with other departments, and branches for any business requirement.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in bank operations as a teller, new accounts representative, or supervisor required.
  • Some experience in retail sales and customer service functions preferred.
  • Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
  • Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
