You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and document activity with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, employees, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign-in logs, and directing traffic flow for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems; document unusual activity and notify the appropriate parties based on post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with management and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yard areas, trailer rows, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Access Control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
