Clinical Dietitian/Nutritionist - Liver Transplant (Adult Services)

Join Our Team as a Clinical Dietitian - Make a Real Impact in Patient Care

Are you enthusiastic about using nutrition to transform health outcomes? Join our dynamic, forward-thinking healthcare team as a Clinical Dietitian supporting our Liver & Kidney Transplant program. This role will include participating in the Liver Transplant ambulatory clinic, as well as the inpatient care of liver transplants and cross-coverage of kidney transplants. In this role, your expertise will directly contribute to improving the lives of patients navigating complex medical journeys.

This role includes:

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary transplant teams to deliver evidence-based nutrition care
• Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments and creating individualized care plans
• Managing complex nutrition needs, including:




• Enteral nutrition
• Therapeutic diets




• Support patients across the continuum of care:




• Ambulatory liver transplant clinic
• Inpatient liver transplant services
• Cross-coverage for kidney transplant patients




• Empower patients with education to support recovery, long-term health, and disease management.

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287

Hours: Full time (40 hours), Day Shift, Some weekend work

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• A Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist with the State of Maryland or eligibility to apply for licensure before hiring.
• Minimum of 2-years' experience as a Registered Dietitian.

Salary Range: Minimum 31.92/hour - Maximum 52.69/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
