Position Summary

The Work-Study Student in Early Childhood Education supports classroom teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. The student assists with daily classroom activities, child supervision, and routine tasks while gaining hands-on experience in early childhood education.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of one year related experience

AA in Early Childhood Education

Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment

Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.

Ability to provide safety, nutrition and hygiene services for children.

Knowledge of child cognitive, social, physical and emotional development
