Building on our past. Ready for the future

Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We're bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

People Team Coordinator

Play an integral role in supporting the people who make Worley's projects possible. As a People Team Coordinator, you will be a trusted partner to craft professionals, site leadership, and operations teams, ensuring that People processes are delivered with consistency, care, and professionalism. This role sits at the intersection of people, projects, and performance, and it offers the opportunity to make a visible impact across assigned locations while building a strong foundation in Human Resources within a dynamic, field-oriented environment.

Purpose of the role

You will be responsible for supporting the general People needs of all direct-hire craft employees at assigned sites. The purpose of this role is to ensure that People-related activities are well-coordinated, compliant, and aligned with Worley policies, procedures, and values. By working closely with site leadership, operations management, and corporate partners, you will help foster sound People practices that support safe, productive, and engaged teams.

Core Responsibilities

You will be responsible for organizing, conducting, and administering new hire orientations, ensuring a welcoming and compliant onboarding experience from day one. This includes completing all required paperwork, processing new hires into Worley's system of record, and completing the employer section of Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9) forms.

You will interface regularly with Payroll, Benefits, IT, Site Leadership, and Corporate teams to ensure accurate and timely coordination of People activities. This includes entering employee transactions such as transfers, rate changes, promotions, and terminations into the HR information system, as well as responding to unemployment claims and supporting data and reporting requests.

You will provide ongoing support to the craft recruitment team, particularly with sourcing activities, posting positions, and verifying candidate skills. You will also assist with planning and preparing recruiting events, including career fairs, open houses, and college campus recruiting, and you will represent Worley at industry events as needed.

In this role, you will hold yourself and others accountable to meet commitments in an ethical, honest, and professional manner. You will provide additional support to the People team as required and take on miscellaneous duties that contribute to the overall success of the department and the region.

What you'll bring to the role

You will bring at least one year of administrative experience, along with exposure to benefits administration, new hire processing, or general employment law concepts. You will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and comfortable working in systems and managing data with accuracy and discretion.

Ideally, you will have a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline, along with experience in Human Resources and HR information systems. Experience supporting construction, maintenance, and/or turnaround environments will position you well for success in this role.

You will bring the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines under pressure, and adapt to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills will allow you to build effective working relationships with a diverse employee population and leaders at all levels. A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a genuine desire to support people will be key to thriving on the Worley People team.

Feel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including: paid-time off, holiday pay (usually 8 per year in the US), and eligibility to participate in the medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as 401K plan.

If you are looking to grow your People career while making a tangible difference in the day-to-day experience of craft professionals and leaders, this role offers a meaningful next step.
