As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Donna, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment for customers and staff. This is an armed and driving post, requiring routine patrols, strong customer service, and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
• Interact with store staff, customers, and/or visitors to provide assistance and address concerns as needed.
• Remain alert and prepared to use appropriate response protocols, including the use of assigned arms, in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid armed guard card or license is required.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III armed certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Applicants must be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
