Position Summary

The Vice President of Commercial Excellence & Insights and Analytics will be the strategic leader responsible for driving commercial performance through data-driven decision-making, operational excellence, and actionable insights.

This position is remote with a periodic in-person presence in our Parsippany, NJ headquarters. The Vice President will report to the Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and implement commercial strategies to maximize sales force productivity and resource allocation
  • Develop and maintain best practices for sales operations, targeting, segmentation, and incentive compensation
  • Lead initiatives to improve customer engagement and optimize promotional effectiveness across channels
  • Build and manage a robust analytics framework to provide actionable insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions using data-driven recommendations
  • Develop forecasting models and performance dashboards to monitor KPIs and identify growth opportunities
  • Oversee all dashboard needs for the organization and is accountable for the engagement with the right vendors managing any required services

Competencies

  • In depth knowledge of the commercialization of biopharmaceuticals, including brand management, sales planning and execution, market access, and regulatory environments
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of US and global oncology market dynamics and key value drivers
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in establishing working relationships within a diverse population
  • Ability to act with courage and candor while displaying the highest level of ethics, integrity, and trustworthiness

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, including at least 10 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Analytics, Forecasting, Market Research, and Competitive Intelligence
  • Experience working within the EU commercial or regional alliance partners environment
  • Significant experience in the oncology market

Salary Statement:

Offered compensation is determined based on market data, internal equity, and an applicant's relevant skills, experience, and educational background.

General Salary Range: $310,000 to $350,000
