As a Security Officer - Armed Government Patrol in Homestead, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting regular patrols, interacting with the public, and delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.
• Monitor access points and control the entry and exit of individuals and vehicles as required by site protocols.
• Report any irregularities, unusual situations, or security-related incidents in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work collaboratively with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
• Utilize and maintain assigned equipment, including firearms, according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required by the client.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
