As a Security Officer - Access Control Gatehouse in Brookwood, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including access control measures at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and verify credentials of individuals entering the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access needs while maintaining compliance with site policies.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed, maintaining clear communication with site personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
