The Department of Kinesiology & Nutrition at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) invites applications for a non-tenure track Research Assistant Professor position. This appointment is focused on conducting research examining the role of immune cells in normal and diabetic wound healing. Position Summary Research Assistant Professor position in the Department of Kinesiology & Nutrition focused on understanding the role of immune cells in normal and diabetic wound healing. Minimum Qualifications PhD in Kinesiology or Nutrition or related field. Minimum of 5 years Post-doctoral or related experience. Extensive experience with mouse models of wound healing, flow cytometry, cell sorting, histological analysis and single cell RNAseq, including downstream analyses. Supervisory experience also required.
