What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas within the cultural institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disturbances.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site staff regarding security-related concerns and observations.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
• Assist visitors and staff by providing information and support while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, including situations requiring an armed response, in alignment with site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
