As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Store in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. This position requires driving as part of your responsibilities and carrying a firearm while on duty. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior within the retail environment.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and communicate any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being a visible presence and assisting with investigations as directed by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
