Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale network infrastructure and construction projects within a designated site or program. This role provides leadership across operational, technical, and client-facing functions, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of accountability for project outcomes and acts as a key liaison between internal teams, external partners, and clients.

Job Responsibilities




  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and delivery.



  • Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules, milestones, and financial plans.



  • Ensure project objectives related to cost, schedule, scope, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are achieved.



  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to secure required labor, materials, equipment, and resources.



  • Oversee pre-construction activities, including constructability reviews, feasibility assessments, cost estimating, and value engineering.



  • Direct day-to-day site operations, including coordination with superintendents and on-site personnel.



  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, including solicitation, negotiation, selection, and oversight.



  • Interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents for staff, contractors, and clients.



  • Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts, change orders, and amendments.



  • Monitor compliance with applicable codes, regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements.



  • Implement and manage quality assurance, safety, and environmental programs.



  • Track project costs, review job cost postings, and prepare financial reports, forecasts, and client invoices.



  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.



  • Communicate project status, performance metrics, and risks to stakeholders on a regular basis.



  • Recruit, train, develop, and manage project staff in accordance with organizational policies.



  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for project teams and vendor partners.



  • Maintain required project documentation, reporting, and internal project management standards.



  • Remain actively present on the jobsite to support on-site project management activities.




Job Requirements




  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure or construction projects.



  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.



  • Prior experience supporting hyperscale data center environments.



  • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer engagement skills.



  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.



  • Experience with contract negotiation, administration, and change management.



  • Knowledge of program and project management metrics, including earned value management concepts.



  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across complex, fast-paced environments.




Education




  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, electrical engineering, business management, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.




Work Experience




  • 5 or more years of experience in construction management, data center environments, structured cabling, or related fields.



  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
