Overview Abacus Technology is seeking a Sr. Test and Evaluation Manager to support each phase of test and evaluation for a new program at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs (including any applicable FAA certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through the various acquisition phases and milestones.
Qualifications 15+ years experience in test engineering including at least 5 years supporting DoD programs. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Able to apply an understanding of DoD, AF, and common engineering/scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems. Experience in conducting engineering studies; developing test procedures, repair capabilities, and maintenance or inspection requirements; and analyzing data from the REMIS and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS). Experience with early-stage acquisition and Milestone B entry desired. Thorough understanding of application software, operating systems, networks, storage platforms, and how they relate to system architecture. Experience working on each stage of the system development life cycle from initiation through deployment/sustainment. Demonstrated proficiency with process modeling and developing workflow diagrams. Able to elicit and interpret requirements and translate to technical specifications/system design following best practices and design patterns. Able to communicate with management, technical staff, and end users in a clear and professional manner. Experience with engineering practices, techniques, and standards. Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop and present technical presentations. Able to represent complex data in diagrams or through other techniques that communicate precise information to both business and technical staff. Proven ability to understand the strategic and tactical approach to projects and handle multiple projects concurrently. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance with SCI access (TS/SCI). The projected compensation range for this position is $125,500-$143,800. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
