DLP Engineer

The Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide data loss prevention strategies. This role is responsible for developing and fine-tuning DLP policies, investigating alerts and incidents, expanding the program's coverage across platforms and driving automation and orchestration of alert lifecycles. Additionally, the DLP Engineer ensures process documentation and team enablement, while designing and maintaining KPI and OKR reporting frameworks to measure program effectiveness. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with a proactive mindset to safeguard sensitive data and support the organization's cybersecurity objectives.

• Implement, enhance and tine policies (25%)
• Analyse and investigate alerts, cases and incidents (15%)\
• Extend the program's coverage and capabilities and roll out new platforms (20%)
• Automate and orchestrate the alerts and lifecycle (30%)
• Document the process and train the team (5%)
• Design and implement KPI and OKR reporting (5%)

• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree in the Cybersecurity or IT fields of study required
• Proven work experience with cybersecurity tools, especially with Data Loss Prevention platforms
• Relevant cybersecurity and technology certifications
• Able to quickly learn new systems and technology
• Able to converse and write effectively in English and local language

• Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
• On-call availability required as necessary.
• Some travel required
