Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training * Room patients, vital signs Assists with procedures, EKG * Instrument maintenance and prep * Stock exam rooms * Documentation, scanning * Point of care testing * Basic in basket and refills * Communicate with physician or APP * Follow protected information policy, follow OSHA standards * Adopt PPE and Quality/Safety Policies * Medication reconciliation, injection administration * Schedule appointments, medical record releases * Diagnostic and ancillary order entry Education: High school diploma or equivalent Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training Why Mercy?
