Medical Scheduler - Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Training M-F, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (approx. 6+ weeks). After training: 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Requirement: Work every other weekend. No time off during the first 90 days. Role Summary The Medical Scheduler supports a highvolume call center environment by answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, transferring calls, and responding to patient room call bells. This role plays a key part in delivering a smooth and positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities * Answer and route a high volume of calls * Schedule appointments accurately * Respond to patient call bells and follow up on requests * Perform emergency overhead paging * Work onsite as needed Qualifications * Ability to type 30+ WPM * Strong call center or phonebased customer service experience * Excellent communication and computer skills * Reliable transportation and schedule flexibility * Healthcare scheduling experience is a plus Work Environment * Businesscasual office setting (not patientfacing) * Free parking * Opportunity for temptoperm placement Compensation & Requirements * $17/hr, 6month contract-to-hire * Background check, drug screen, and education verification required Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Randallstown, MD.
