Supports the day-to-day activities of the Manager and Sales Representatives, as well as be responsible for leading initiatives and strategies related to Government Programs (DSNP Senior Care Options and One Care or Medicare Advantage) growth to ensure all targets are met. This includes but is not limited to daily operations, participation in field rep monitoring and presentations, broker oversight, and MassHealth and Medicare prospect eligibility. Role requires a strong understanding of state and federal rules and regulations around Medicaid and Medicare.
Education
- Associate degree preferred (experience can be considered in lieu of a degree)
Experience
- At least 5-7 years of experience in sales, healthcare, or insurance, with a focus on Government Markets required
- At least 1-2 years of management experience required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, to ensure compliance and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Familiarity with call center software, customer relationship management systems, and other relevant tools used in a call center environment.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry, hospital operations, and medical terminology is important for effectively understanding and addressing customer inquiries.
- Ability to motivate and inspire staff to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
- Proficient problem-solving skills to handle escalated or challenging customer interactions effectively.
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for patients, visitors, and other stakeholders.
- Manage Eligibility Representative(s) as well as the overall process to help prospects gain plan eligibility, with potential to manage additional reps as the plans grow.
- Primary contact for external brokers who sell DSNP plans, which is critical in fostering productive relationships and driving growth.
- Coordinate with manager and teams such as Enrollment and Marketing to align sales strategies, and ensure constant communication, process enhancement, and recruitment and retention of enrollees.
- Build and maintain proficient relationships with all key internal stakeholders.
- Assist as needed with Field Representative monitoring and community and provider presentations.
- Identify gaps and create improvement plans to enhance team performance.
- Monitor and report on KPI such as field sales performance metrics, lead conversion, and ROI.
