What to Expect
The Real Estate Development Manager will lead the planning, due diligence, and business planning of complex corporate real estate development projects with a primary focus on supporting the company's Research & Development (R&D) and Engineering organizations. This role is responsible for delivering state-of-the-art facilities including research laboratories, prototyping workshops, pilot production lines, and specialized technical spaces that meet the unique functional, technical, and regulatory requirements of innovative R&D and engineering programs.
What You'll Do
- Identify and evaluate potential development sites or opportunities for corporate use
- Conduct feasibility studies, market analysis, due diligence, and financial modeling to assess project viability
- Manage entitlement processes, including securing zoning approvals, permits, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts with our project controls team
- Oversee due diligence teams to ensure projects meet quality standards and timelines
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Negotiate contracts, leases, or acquisitions with our Real Estate team
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or equivalent experience
- 5-10+ years in real estate development, project management, or corporate real estate, with proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion
- Experience in commercial/corporate real estate
- Strong financial analysis and budgeting skills
- Excellent project management abilities
- Knowledge of zoning laws, entitlements, permitting processes, and real estate regulations
- Superior negotiation, communication, and leadership skills

Expected Compensation
$83,600 - $176,700/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
