Description MaineHealth Behavioral Health Full Time/Days (40 hours per week) For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 for all eligible Registered Nurses with 1-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2years of experience!
The ACT Nurse works with individuals, families, groups and communities assessing mental health needs, developing a comprehensive plan of care, assisting in the implementation of the treatment plan, and evaluating the response to care. In addition, the ACT nurse works closely with the team's attending Psychiatrist to review compliance and meet regulatory expectations for the team. The nurse in the outpatient setting supports the mission, vision and values of Maine Behavioral Healthcare. The ACT nurse adheres to the scope of practice as defined by the Maine State Board of Nursing and further follows the guidelines defined in the Standard of Care and Policies and Procedures. Additionally, the nurse abides by the standards of care as defined by the specialty's professional organization, the American Psychiatric Nurse's Association. Summary: The Registered Nurse - Recovery - Behavioral Health role works with individuals, families, groups, and communities assessing mental health needs, developing a comprehensive plan of care, assisting in the implementation of the treatment plan, and evaluating the response to care.
