Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Maxton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a manufacturing and industrial location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing visible support to employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a strong presence, and deliver excellent customer service, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any irregularities.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or incidents as needed.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
• Support emergency response activities and assist with evacuations or other procedures as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
