The Physical Therapy Resident evaluates and treats patients in accordance with the laws and rules that govern the practice of physical therapy in the state of Ohio. The geriatric PT residency program offers high quality clinical, educational, and research opportunities to prepare physical therapists to become board certified geriatric physical therapy specialists. The mission of the program is to develop clinician leaders with advanced knowledge, skills and professional behaviors that will shape the future of geriatric physical therapy and create autonomous practitioners through research, education and patient care.
